Hidden Gem: the District 52 Speakers Bureau.

The District 52 Speakers Bureau provides professional and qualified speakers, emcees, and trainers for Toastmasters, community, business, and religious groups at no cost to you.
The Speakers Bureau is currently seeking both speaking opportunities and new members. To secure a speaker please go to the website and contact your speaker of choice directly.
The Speakers Bureau is not a club. It meets quarterly to qualify new speakers or listen to current professional speakers. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Speakers Bureau and are ready to actively promote yourself as a professional speaker, inside or outside of Toastmasters,  we would love to connect with you. Here are the basic requirements to become a Qualified Speaker:
  • Be a member in good standing of at least one Toastmasters club in District 52
  • Have completed at least 3 Pathway Levels
  • Present a sample, or audition speech, 18 to 20 minutes in length, with an optional additional 1-2 minutes Q&A segment
  • Submit two leads per year
If your group has an ongoing need for speakers or you are a District 52 Toastmaster and interested in being a part of the Speakers Bureau, please contact Linda Cota-Kumagai, DTM, QS, Chair.
