Welcome to District 52's Speakers Bureau

Mitch Krayton,
District 52 Speakers Bureau Chair 2010-2011
The Speakers Bureau is a community resource available to
not-for-profit and educational groups that would like to have a
Toastmaster make a presentation to their organization. There
is no charge for this service and there will be no solicitation
for products or services other than for the Toastmasters
organization.
Toastmasters International is the largest non-profit educational
organization in the world and we are prohibited from helping
charities raise funds or advocating any cause. Our mission is
plain and simple: Make effective Communication a Worldwide
Reality.
You do however have many
speech
topics to choose from.
Some Toastmasters are new to speaking outside of their clubs but
they are eager to wow you with their message and their style.
Other toastmasters have many years of public speaking experience and
can adapt to your special requirements.
It is common for groups to ask for a 20 to 45 minute keynote style
presentation during a breakfast, lunch, or dinner meeting. In
that case, it is customary to provide the speaker with a meal.
Speakers are also available to deliver workshop style presentations
of up to an hour.
Although Speaker Bureau speakers cannot accept any compensation or
cash honorarium for their speech, your gift of a pen, certificate or
other token of appreciation is quite acceptable and appreciated.
It's simple. We provide you with a no-cost roster of excellent
and compelling speakers. In exchange, we ask for your support
before and during the event.
Please contact your speaker before your event. Provide your
speaker with pertinent information about your organization and your
meeting, including parking information and access requirements to
the venue. Let your speaker know whether you have special
requests or limitations. When your speaker arrives, please
have a designated contact person greet your speaker and introduce
your speaker to your dignitaries.
The Speakers Bureau will be following up with a brief evaluation
shortly after your event to see how well things went. We will
share your comments with your speaker.
Please remember that your Toastmaster speaker has a full time
occupation and that he or she volunteers their time to the Speakers
Bureau to improve their communication and leadership skills.
We look forward to your requests. Please us the links below to
