7. What about having a Debate Contest, Interpretive Reading Contest, or some other contest you didn't mention?

Districts can choose to hold whichever contests they wish among the five officially sanctioned contests: Evaluation, Humorous, Table Topics, Tall Tales, and International. Districts are required to hold their International contest prior to the Region conferences in June of each year. That aside, the selection of contests varies from District to District, year to year, and it isn't practical to list all the various combinations held globally here in this FAQ.

Contests are not part of Toastmasters International's citical succcess factors for Districts. Club members may wish to hold some other type of contests within their club; however, Districts annually hold only four of the five officially sanctioned contests listed above.
