District 52's Website!
This year marks District 52’s Golden Anniversary and there
is no better time to CELEBRATE as we continue to excel as a
Distinguished District. For the past fifty years, District
52 has been committed to serving its members. Today,
it serves 99 clubs with approximately 1800 members in
Downtown Los Angeles, Hollywood, Glendale, Burbank, San
Fernando Valley, and Santa Clarita Valley.

Club Presidents and VP Education
At the District 52 Council Business Meeting,
scheduled from 10:00 am thru 11:00 am, we'll consider for adoption
our new District 52 Alignment, Election of New Officers for
2008-2009, and opportunity to witness the International Director
candidates' presentations. This portion of the Conference is
open with no charge to attend to all Presidents, VP
Education and District Executive Committee.

Individual Membership Sponsor Recognition

members!
Encourage a friend or a colleague to join Toastmasters and

Here are the contest rules:
· Members
who recruit three or more members
from April 1 to May 15 based on the Member Sponsor
recognition* from TI will receive a
$25 gift certificate to the Toastmasters International store.
· Members
who recruit five or more members
from April 1 to May 15 based on the Member Sponsor
recognition* from TI will receive a
$50 Gift Certificate to the TI store.

Beat the Clock

Clubs that add 5 new, reinstated or dual members between May 1st
and June 30th will receive a Beat the Clock ribbon for their banner
from Toastmasters International. The District will also reward
the club with a $35 gift certificate that can be spent at the TI
Store. The certificate will be presented at the Awards and
Installation (A&I) Banquet to be held on August 9, 2008 at the
Castaway in Burbank.
20+ New Member Club
A special Governor's Trophy will be awarded to
club Presidents at the A&I on August 9th, whose clubs add 20 or
more new, dual, or reinstated members from July 1 to June 30, 2008.

Leadership Award Incentive
Leadership Award (OCL, CL, ALB, ALS, DTM)
earned between March 24th and May 10 will qualify you to receive a
certificate to attend the Spring Conference at the
“Pre-Registration” price of $57. Just present it at the door.
